Find the valve. Turn it clockwise. Then call.

Look on the street side of the house
Most South Florida homes are slab-on-grade with no basement, so the main shut-off is usually in a rectangular box set into the ground near the sidewalk, or on the outside wall closest to the water heater. In a condo it is under the sink or behind an access panel in the unit.

Turn it clockwise until it stops
A round handwheel takes several full turns. A lever quarter-turns until it sits across the pipe. If the valve is seized, do not force it. Call and say so, and dispatch will talk you to the meter instead.

Open the lowest tap in the building
That drains the pressure still sitting in the pipes so the leak slows to a drip instead of continuing to push. Then photograph what you can see, before anyone moves anything.
