Why does the same plumbing fault keep appearing in Tamarac?
Because the city was built to repeat. The developer Ken Behring came from the Midwest, bought land where he could, and created an active adult community of two-bedroom maintenance-free homes from 1963. Development ran from east of State Road 7 westward following his plan rather than any municipal one, which is why the sections are numbered in sequence rather than laid out on a grid.
